With orders put in place by our federal, state, and local officials, many of us do not know how to feel. Only businesses deemed essential by the state are able to operate face-to-face with the public. Those businesses include mail and package delivery as well as supermarket and food market workers. Below are some ways you can support them.
- Stay protected. COVID-19 is an interesting virus in that some folks who have tested positive are symptomatic, while others exhibit no symptoms at all. Keeping yourself protected (wear a bandana or scarf) over your mouth and nose when you need to visit these establishments.
- Keep your distance. Make sure you are staying 6 feet away at a minimum.
- Call or text. These folks are working under stressful conditions right now. Offer them some support by sending a text or making a phone call.
Make sure you are practicing habits that keep you safe while supporting your friends and family. The attorneys and staff at McEnery Price Messey & Sullivan wish you and your family good health.
