High Marks For Some Connecticut Hospitals In Annual Safety Survey
Each fall the Leapfrog Group releases a list of hospitals and grades them based on a set group of criteria. This year, given the stress that was placed on hospital staff due to the COVID-19 pandemic the results were great for some area hospitals while others missed the mark.
While grades for hospitals don’t typically indicate whether you will be free from a Connecticut medical malpractice issue at that hospital they do give you an idea of which hospitals have been independently reviewed to give the best service.
The fall survey took into account a hospital’s ability to protect patients from the following issues when they are admitted to the hospital;
