Connecticut Worker’s Compensation Accident Injured Trooper
A 33-year-old Connecticut State Motorcycle Trooper was injured in a work-related accident a few weeks ago when a car backed out from a private driveway into the Trooper’s path and caused him to be thrown from his bike.
While police are still investigating the cause of this accident, this accident is both a motorcycle injury and a worker’s compensation case. In addition to working with the vehicle driver’s insurance claims adjuster, this Trooper will need to file a workers’ compensation claim since the injury happened on the job. Workers’ compensation claims are handled through the Workers’ Compensation Commission.
