Connecticut Drivers Worst In The Nation
Wednesday, June 27th, 2018 by Gayle Sullivan, RN, JD | Posted In: Auto Accidents
It’s official: Connecticut has the worst drivers in the United States, according to a new report issued. This is discouraging news, since Connecticut was second from the bottom last year. With 66 auto accident fatalities already, 2018 will be another high fatality year.
As the 50th unsafe state for drivers, those in Connecticut that use the roadways face a different culture of driver. Distracted driving, mobile devices, and aggressive acceleration have contributed to this ranking, according to the report.
If you or your loved one are ever in a Connecticut auto accident, please do the following:
- Seek medical attention and/or help right after your accident. There are occasions when pain surfaces days or even weeks after an accident. You will want all pain and injuries documented
- Make sure there is a filed police report for your accident.
- Call an experienced attorney like those at McEnery Price Messey & Sullivan.
