Massive Honda Recall Affects These Vehicles
With just over 600,000 Honda and Acura vehicles being recalled due to faulty fuel pumps, the company says that there have not been any reports of any Connecticut auto accidents as a result of the defective part.
That being said, the company is recalling many of its vehicles that were in it’s fleet from 2018 – 2020. These vehicles include the following;
- 2019 and 2020 Accord
- 2019 Civic Coupe, Sedan and Type R
- 2019 Civic Hatchback
- 2020 Civic Hatchback
- 2019 Fit
- 2019 HR-V
- 2019 and 2020 Insight
- 2019 Odyssey
- 2019 Passport
- 2019 Pilot
- 2019 Ridgeline.
- 2019 Acura ILX
- 2019 Acura MDX
- 2019 Acura RDX
- 2019 Acura TLX
- 2020 Acura MDX
- 2020 Acura RDX
- 2020 Acura TLX
Recall notices are expected to go out in early May to owners of these vehicles. While there does not appear to be any imminent danger to drivers, owners of the cars should not hesitate taking their vehicles to their nearest dealer to get the problem resolved.
