If you were injured in a slip and fall accident, there are steps you can take to help preserve the evidence and build a strong case. The following can help you build the strongest case for your slip and fall case:
- Seek medical attention immediately. Whether it’s with your primary care physician or the emergency room doctor, make sure you are checked out to document any injuries. Sometimes injuries can take a few days to surface. If this is the case, go back to your physician and get these documented.
- Photograph the scene. Get photos of all angles of the area where your accident occurred: close-up, far away and every angle in between.
- Call an experienced and knowledgeable slip and fall attorney. Navigating your claim with the insurance company can be difficult. The insurance company is not working for you. Your attorney is.
