Avoid Connecticut Personal Injury and Harness Safety
Indoor and outdoor adventure parks are extremely popular, especially with families and extracurricular activities groups. However, it is very important to make sure you and your family are following proper safety procedures when visiting an adventure park or a personal injury could occur.
Many outdoor parks often offer activities that include climbing a tall wall or balancing on a beam at extremely high altitudes, which may require participants to wear a safety harness.
When visiting, follow all safety precautions from staff and investigate these items:
- Find out when the last time the city or state was in to inspect the equipment
- Determine when the last time the company itself inspected the equipment
- Find out how often staff are training or refreshed on equipment safety
- Determine if there are any prerequisites for participating in the activity
If you or a loved one have been injured as the result of a safety equipment malfunction and your injuries are permanent, call our office immediately. Our doctor/attorney, Robert Messey, and nurse/attorney, Gayle Sullivan, will being an immediate investigation into your case.
