Car accident case litigation could be drastically changed with a new free app available for iPhone users. NEXAR utilizes computer vision to understand the road and turns your phone into a dashboard camera.
This app can identify objects like traffic lights, license plates, signage, and the trajectory of other cars on the road. Additionally it uses the iPhone’s sensors to detect when cars brake hard or if there was a car accident.
How does this help lawyers working on auto accident cases?
- Define liability. Police officers responding to the scene of an accident can see first hand what happened.
- Build claims and cases. NEXAR’s developers claim that this app can recreate accidents in 3D. Utilizing the camera and sensors, the app claims it can create 3D models of the car to show the accident.
- Help make roadways safer. NEXAR remembers the license plates of bad drivers and when you are close to a “bad driver,” it warns you to stay clear of them on the road.
If you or your loved one have been injured in a Connecticut car accident, you may be able to handle the claim yourself. Find out here.
