What does this mean for passengers injured in bus accidents like this?
When you or a loved one are the passenger in a motor vehicle that is involved in a crash, you likely will have zero liability in the cause of the accident. There are medical bills and transport costs associated with treating trauma patients that insurance companies are responsible to cover, as well as lost wages, and long-term disabilities caused by the accident.
