The task of selecting a child care center for your most precious bundle of joy can be a tedious one. In addition to choosing a center that aligns with your parenting philosophies, there are also safety concerns to consider when making your selection to avoid a Connecticut personal injury to your child.
When choosing your childcare center, ask the following questions:
- In the time of Covid-19, what safety precautions are your facility/staff taking to keep everyone safe?
- How long ago did the State of Connecticut conduct an on-site visit? You can always follow up by looking up the center here.
- What kind of emergency training does your staff have?
- What is your medicine administration policy?
- How are medications stored?
- What type of background checks are conducted on staff prior to hiring?
- What is your discipline policy?
Daycare centers can be fun and nurturing environments for little minds and bodies. However, Connecticut personal injuries can happen.
