Were you or your loved one injured after a stay in a hospital? It may be medical malpractice due to hospital worker fatigue.
A recent article cites that worker fatigue can cause avoidable injuries and sometimes death. Examples of injuries that can be caused by worker fatigue are (but not limited to):
- Medication errors – dispensing and administering the wrong drug, improper dosage, and to the wrong patient.
- Surgical errors – surgery on the wrong body part and deviations from the standard of care.
- Incorrect test reading – missing injuries or incorrectly reading x-rays, MRIs, or CT scans.
If you suspect you or your loved one’s injury was caused by hospital worker fatigue, call our doctor/attorney or our nurse/attorney immediately. They will be able to evaluate your possible medical malpractice case and discuss your options.
